ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to upload the name of the Petitioner in the Online Patta (ePatta) portal and to issue an online Patta in her name in respect of the property bearing Natham Survey No. 8/7 (Old Survey No. 8/2 Part), Viraganur Village, Madurai South Taluk, Madurai District, based on the petitioner's representation dated 04.08.2025.

2. The petitioner's husband, namely Narayanan, was granted patta by the competent authorities in respect of the subject property as a Natham house site. Thereafter, he was in possession and enjoyment of the property. Subsequently, the petitioner's husband executed a registered settlement deed, vide Document No. 6500 of 2002, and he settled the property in favour of the petitioner. Thereafter, the petitioner was in possession and enjoyment of the property. Patta also stands in the name of the petitioner. However, since the petitioner's name is not reflecting 2/5

in the Online Patta (e-Patta) Portal, she has submitted the present representation seeking rectification of the same.

3. In view of the above, the second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's claim based on the above aforesaid facts and grant online patta. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of for twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
