Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant permission and protection for Aadal Padal program perform in "Thiruvizha" scheduled to be held on 15.07.2016 at 7.00 p.m. To 11.00 p.m. at Arulmigu Sri Kaliamman Thirukovil at Indira Nagar, Palani Road, Muruga Bhavanam, Dindigul District.

O R D E R
The writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to grant permission and adequate protection to conduct the Aadal Padal programme scheduled to be held on 15.07.2016 in connection with Aani festival of Arulmigu Sri Kaliamman Thirukovil at Indira Nagar, Palani Road, Muruga Bhavanam, Dindigul District.
2.Mr.D.Muruganandam, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the programme is being conducted by the villagers regularly in order to promote harmony during the above said festival period; that a representation was given to the respondents on 05.07.2016, however, the same was not considered by the respondents so far and hence, the petitioner is before this https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Court with this writ petition. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would further submit that as the aforesaid festival is celebrated in a peaceful manner by the villagers, there will be no untoward incident on account of this celebration and that the petitioner is also ready to submit a fresh representation to that effect.
5.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent, on instructions, gave an undertaking that the second respondent would consider the fresh representation to be submitted by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law.
6.In view of the above submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, the petitioner is directed to submit a fresh representation on 14.07.2016 in person to the second respondent and on receipt of the same, the second respondent shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law forthwith, as the programme is scheduled to be held on 15.07.2016.
7. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
