Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to provide police protection to the petitioner's rights in the land bearing S.No.11/1B2 situated at Nelmudikarai Village Group, Thirupuvanam Taluk, Sivagangai District admeasuring about 57 cents and prevent any encroachment or criminal trespass by the third respondent or any other person on behalf of the petitioner pending hearing and disposal of the civil suit in O.S.No.16 of 2015 on the file of the District Court, Sivagangai.

ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed seeking for police protection by the petitioner, who is the brother of the third respondent herein. 2.A suit in O.S.No.16 of 2015 is already filed by the third respondent herein to divide the properties. When the matter is pending, the petitioner seeks to indulgence of this Court by way of Mandamus, directing the police to give protection in respect of the land in Survey No.11/1B2 situated at Nelmudikarai Village Group, Thirupuvanam Taluk, Sivagangai District admeasuring about 57 cents. Such blanket directions cannot be granted and the properties are to be divided by meets and bounds as per the orders of the civil Court only.

W.P.(MD)No.15760 of 2020 3.In such view of the matter, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs.
