Respondents PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to dispose of the petitioner's Appeal, dated 22.07.2015 to revise and drop the punishment of 2 years increment cut with cumulative effect imposed by the 2nd respondent, dated 29.12.2003 in terms of Clause 61 of 12(3) Settlement dated 30.09.1992 and in view of the Judgment of the Judicial Magistrate, Tiruchendur, dated 1.11.2014. O R D E R

The petitioner has come forward with the present Writ Petition for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to dispose of the petitioner's Appeal, dated 22.07.2015, to revise and drop the punishment of 2 years increment cut with cumulative effect, imposed by the 2nd respondent, dated 29.12.2003, in terms of Clause 61 of 12(3) Settlement, dated 30.09.1992 and in view of the Judgment of the Judicial Magistrate, Tiruchendur, dated 1.11.2014.

2. Mr.K.Sathiya Singh, the learned Standing Counsel takes Notice for the respondents.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if the appeal of the petitioner dated 22.07.2015 is disposed of on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.In view of the limited scope of the prayer, without going into the merits of the matter, the Authority concerned is directed to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if not already disposed of and if there are no legal impediments. 5.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
