O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to give permission and adequate Police protection for conducting Aadal Padal programme on 13.07.2019, at Sri Yegiri Amman Sri Oorudaiyan Swamy Thirukovil Kaapukattu festival, Analai Village, Trichy District, on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 08.07.2019.

2. By consent of both parties, the main Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that already the date for which the petitioner seeking permission for conducting the program is over. Hence, the prayer sought for by the petitioner would not be considered.

4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that since the permission was not granted for conducting the temple festival on 13.07.2019 and now the villagers have proposed to conduct the festival in coming week and they want to file a fresh representation and the representation may be considered by the respondents.

5.Considering the above circumstances, the petitioner is directed to file a fresh representation before the second respondent seeking permission for conducting the program and if any such representation is filed, the second respondent is directed to consider the same and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law.

6.The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
