ORDER

The petitioner is a Director of a Private Limited Company. A look-out circular was issued against the petitioner by the first respondent, at the request of the second respondent, pursuant to a criminal case registered against him in FIR/Case No.Rc.229 2024 [A] 0001 dated 30.01.2024. Therefore, the petitioner has moved this writ petition seeking a direction to the first respondent to withdraw the look-out circular issued against him.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that 2/6

the look-out circular has been issued against the petitioner based on the criminal case registered against him and in the criminal case, the final report has been filed and the petitioner has been deleted as an accused. Therefore, there is no necessity for continuing the look-out circular issued against him based on the FIR/Case No.Rc.229 2024 [A] 0001 dated 30.01.2024.

The learned Special Public Prosecutor appearing for CBI submits that a criminal case has been registered against the petitioner and five others in FIR/Case No.Rc.229 2024 [A] 0001 dated 30.01.2024, for the offence under Section 120B r/w. Sections 420, 409, 419, 467, 468 and 471 of IPC and Sections 13(2) r/w. 13(1)(d) and 13(1)(a) of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988. Therefore, a request has been made by the investigating agency to issue a look-out circular against the petitioner. The investigation reveals that the petitioner is not having any role in the commission of offence and therefore, the investigation agency has deleted the petitioner as an accused. Consequently, the second respondent has also made a request to the first respondent for deleting the look-out circular issued against the petitioner. On that request, the first 3/6

respondent, by proceedings dated 09.12.2025, has deleted the look-out circular issued against the petitioner. A copy of the proceedings dated 09.12.2025 is also placed before this Court.

In view of the submissions made by the learned Special Public Prosecutor appearing for CBI and the proceedings of the first respondent dated 09.12.2025, this writ petition is closed with a direction to the respondent to furnish a copy of the proceedings dated 09.12.2025 to the petitioner.
