This Writ Petition is filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to act upon the petitioner's representation, dated 05.07.2022.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner's wife Vanitha was working as an Office Assistant in Trichy Corporation. In this situation, one Prabhu who is working along with Vanitha interfered in the petitioner's family life and he was creating lot of problems between the petitioner and his wife. The petitioner's wife, at the instigation of the said Prabhu, gave a complaint to the respondent police against the petitioner. Thereafter, on 16.06.2022, the petitioner was attacked by there unknown persons, on the direction of said Prabhu. Accordingly, after taking treatment for the severe injuries caused by them, the petitioner sent a representation on 05.07.2022 to the respondent police through post, but, the respondents have not taken any action. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents submitted that after receiving the complaint, dated 05.07.2022, the respondent police registered a case in Crime No.610 of 2022, for the offences under Sections 294(b), 341 and 323 I.P.C, dated 12.07.2022, and the investigation is pending. 2/4
4. Recording the same, the second respondent is directed to complete the investigation within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order in accordance with law.
5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
