ORDER

S.Arumugam, a resident of Thirukalambur Post, Ponnamaravathy Taluk, Pudukkottai District, seeks a direction, directing the respondent to accord permission and protection to conduct Aadi Visakam festival at Thirukalambur Village, Ponnamaravathy Taluk, Pudukkottai District on 02.08.2016.

2.According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, as early as on 09.07.2016, a representation has been given to the respondent for the function to be conducted on 02.08.2016, as on date, the respondent is kept pending the petition, without passing orders thereon.

3.The learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that the representation is under active consideration and it will be processed and orders will be passed in accordance with law. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.In the circumstances, the respondent shall pass orders on the representation dated 09.07.2016 presented by the petitioner on or before 25.07.2016. Accordingly, this Writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
