Respondent PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of writ of certiorarified mandamus, to call for the impugned order passed by the respondent herein in proceedings in Se.Mu.Anai No.995/E3/2018, dated 27.02.2020 regarding the suspension of the petitioner and quash the same as illegal and consequently, direct the respondent herein to permit the petitioner to discharge his duties as Cook in the respondent Medical College Hospital, Theni.

ORDER
This writ petition is filed as against the suspension order dated 27.02.2020 issued by the respondent.
2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Counsel for the petitioner fairly submits that the petitioner was placed under suspension on 27.02.2020, subsequently, a charge memo was issued on 19.03.2020, enquiry officer was appointed and after enquiry, a report has also been submitted on 21.07.2020. However, so far no order has been passed and therefore, the petitioner confines the prayer for a direction to the respondent to pass final orders in the departmental proceedings initiated against him. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P(MD)No.15498 of 2021 3.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent submits that the respondent would pass final orders within the time stipulated by this Court.
4.In view of the above, this Court without expressing anything on the merits of the writ petition, directs the respondent to pass final orders in the departmental proceedings initiated against the petitioner within period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.The writ petition is disposed of on the above terms. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
