ORDER

Mr.M.A.Planikumar, who is serving as Rural Welfare Officer Grade-II in the cadres of Junior Assistant in the Panchayat Union, Thiruparakundram, has come to this Court directing the first respondent, namely, the Director of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj, Chennai, to pass appropriate orders on the proposals sent by the District Collector, Madurai in his letter No.RC.26164/2015/Deve-3, dated 23.06.2015, regarding declaration of probation of the petitioner, with effect from 10.03.2010.

Mr.M.Murugan, learned Government Advocate accepts notice for the respondents.

Considering the limited prayer that the petitioner made in this Writ Petition, the first respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on the proposal sent by the District Collector, Madurai, dated 23.06.2015, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
