Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus by calling for the entire records pertaining to the proceedings of the second respondent dated 06.02.2017 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to accord permission and provide adequate police protection for conducting Aadal Padal cultural program" which is scheduled to be taken place on 11.02.2017 in connection with the of 24th year Premma Theirtha Theppa Festival of Arulmegu Yelavarkualali Amman Sametha Yedaga Nathar Temple, Thiruvedagam Village, Sholavandan, Madurai District.

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to call for records relating to the order dated 06.02.2017 passed by the second respondent and quash the same, by way of issuing a writ of certiorarified mandamus. 2.Mr.D.Muruganandam, learned Additional Government Pleader, has taken notice for the respondents.
3.It is seen from the the impugned order that due to paucity of police force, the permission sought by the petitioner cannot be granted.

4.Considering the reason given in the impugned order, this Court is inclined to pass the following order. 5.In fine, this writ petition is allowed without costs and the impugned order dated 06.02.2017 passed by the second respondent is quashed. However the petitioner is directed to give a fresh representation to the second respondent and the second respondent is directed to look into the representation and dispose of the same within a period of two days.
