Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant permission and protection for Aadal Padal program in "Thiruvizha" scheduled to be held on 22.07.2016 at 07.00 p.m. to 11.00 p.m. at Arulmigu Sri Veeramahaliamman Thirukovil at Aranthangi Taluk, Pudukkottai District.

O R D E R
The writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent herein to grant permission and protection to conduct the Aadal Padal program scheduled to be conducted on 22.07.2016 in connection with Aadi month festival of Arulmigu Sri Veeramahaliamman Thirukovil at Aranthangi Taluk, Pudukkottai District.
2.Mr.D.Muruganandam, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the programme is being conducted by the villagers regularly in order to promote harmony during the above said festival period; that a representation was given to the second respondent on 11.07.2016, however, the same was not considered by the second respondent so far and hence, the petitioner is before this Court with this writ petition. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would further submit that as the aforesaid festival is celebrated in a peaceful manner by the villagers, there will be no untoward incident on account of this celebration. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
5.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that during earlier occasion, despite the order being passed by this Court, there was a commotion and a case came to be registered in Crime No.248 of 2016 under Sections 147, 323 IPC and 3(1) of the Tamil Nadu Public Property (Prevention of Damage and Loss) Act, 1992 and therefore, after analysing the present situation, the second respondent would consider the representation of the petitioner dated 11.07.2016 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law. 6.In view of the above submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 11.07.2016 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law forthwith, as the programme is scheduled to be held on 22.07.2016.
7. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
