Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st and 2nd respondents to consider the Appeal dated 17.08.2017 made by the petitioner and furnish the information requested in the petitioner's Application dated 20.05.2017 addressed to the 4th respondent, within a time limit to be fixed by this Hon'ble court.

By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
2. Mr.M.Alagathevan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents.
3. Alleging that the respondents 2 to 5 / the Public Information Officers are either forwarding the petitioner's application or not providing the exact information, as sought for by him, under the RTI Act, regarding the irregularities / illegalities committed by the then Headmistress of the fifth respondent School, he has preferred an appeal dated 17.08.2017 before the first respondent, for necessary action and as the same is kept pending, without any action, the petitioner is before this Court, for the aforesaid relief.
4. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would be suffice, if his appeal dated 17.08.2017, is disposed of by the first respondent, on merits.
5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also the limited scope of the relief sought for, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to consider the appeal petition of the petitioner dated 17.08.2017 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as all the other interested parties, if any, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
