ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to expedite the investigation and file the final report in Crime No.222 of 2016, before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Ramanathapuram.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) appearing for the respondent.

3.Perused the materials placed on record.

4.Taking into consideration the nature of allegations in the FIR, this Court directs the respondent Police to complete the investigation in Crime No.222 of 2016, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and either file a final report or closure report, as the case may be, under due intimation of the de facto complainant.

5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
