PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C.,to direct the respondent to file the Final Report in Crime No.59 of 2020 pending on his file, before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.IV, Tirunelveli District to complete the trial and dispose of the same, within the time frame fixed by this Court. For Petitioner : Mr.S.Elumalai For Respondent : Mr.V.Neelakandan Additional Public Prosecutor.

ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to file the Final Report in Crime No.59 of 2020 pending on his file, before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.IV, Tirunelveli District to complete the trial and dispose of the same, within the time frame fixed by this Court.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Criminal Side) for the official respondent.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that for the alleged occurrence took place on 06.11.2019, the First Information Report was registered in Crime No.59 of 2020 against the accused, under Sections 448, 506(i), 294(b) of IPC, pursuant to the direction issued by the Judicial Magistrate No.IV, Tirunelveli. Despite the fact that the charge sheet had been made ready a long ago, it is yet to be presented.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Criminal Side) appearing for the official respondent would state that the Charge Sheet has been filed on 31.08.2020 before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.IV, Tirunelveli and the case has been taken on file in CC No.814 of 2020. The next date of hearing is 08.12.2020.

5.Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor(Criminal Side), this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
