This petition has been filed for seeking a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to consider the petitioner representation dated 09.12.2017 to grant permission and protection to conduct the cultural programme and other programmes more particularly for children in the event of ''Pongal Festival'' on 14.01.2018 and 15.01.2018 at Om Nagar, China Anupanadi, Madurai. 2.Heard Mr.P.Santhana Krishnan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.D.Muruganantham, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner would be satisfied, if his representation dated

3.a.The second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.12.2017 and pass appropriate orders on the same on merits in accordance with law on or before 30.12.2017.

4. With the above observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
