Mr.A.K.Baskara Pandian, the learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3 and Mr.S.Manohar, learned counsel takes notice for the fourth respondent.

2.The prayer in the writ petition is for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 4th respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.12.2016, within a period that may be stipulated by this Court.

3.By consent of both sides this writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

4.Since the very prayer itself is innocuous in nature as the petitioner seeks only mandamus, directing the 4th respondent to consider his representation dated 19.12.2016, and to pass orders thereon, this Court is inclined to pass the following order without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner: The fourth respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 19.12.2016 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions.
