Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to grant permission and protection for Adal Padal Program perform by "Madurai Mariamman Groups in Karagattam", "S.M.Kalimuthu Groups in Kadhamba Naadagam" and "5 Star Groups Cultural Program" in "Maasi Kalari, Maha Sivarathiri Thiruvizha" scheduled to be held on 22.02.2017 to 24.02.2017 at Arulmigu Sri Petchiamman Thirukovil at Keelamavilangai, Perunazhi Post, Kamuthi Taluk, Ramanathapuram District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 04.02.2017.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents to give necessary permission for conducting programme of Adalpadal in the place mentioned in the petition, by way of issuing a writ of mandamus.

2.Mr.D.Muruganandam, learned Additional Government Pleader, has taken notice for the respondents.

representation has been given by the petitioner to the respondents and the same has not been considered. Under the said circumstances, this Court is inclined to pass the following order. 4.In fine, this writ petition is allowed in part without costs and the second respondent viz., Sub-Inspector of Police, Kovilangulam Police Station, Ramanathapuram District is directed to look into the representation dated 04.02.2017 and dispose of the same within a period of two days.
