For Respondent : Mr.B.Thanga Aravindh, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.201/2023 on the file of the Respondent police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/A4, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 294(b), 394 and 506(i) of I.P.C., in Crime No.201 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that on 14.05.2023 at 09.00 p.m., when the de-facto complainant was returning home in his TATA Ace Vehicle, four persons came in Yamaha R15 bearing Registration No.TN-48-BW-7695 and asked lift in his vehicle. When he stopped his vehicle, they asked him to get down from the vehicle, abused him in filthy language, threatened him with dire consequences and taken away Rs.5,300/- cash and half sovereign gold ring and also beaten him. Hence, the case.

3.Heard. Perused the materials available on record including the First Information Report.

4.It is seen that there are totally four accused involved in this case and the petitioner is arrayed as A4. According to the case of the prosecution, A1 to A3 waylaid the vehicle and robbed a cash. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2

CRL OP(MD). No.10631 of 2023 No recovery sofar made and A1 and A3 were already arrested and remanded to judicial custody. Insofar as the petitioner is concerned, he also involved in three previous cases and as such, the custodial interrogation of the petitioner is very much required in this case. Hence, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
