2. The writ petitioner is the retired Sub Inspector of Police. His wife is also a Government Servant. She passed away.

The writ petitioner seeks compassionate appointment for his son. If the son wants an appointment on compassionate ground, it is for him to file an application in this regard. The writ petitioner has no locus standi at all.

3.This Writ Petition is dismissed as non-maintainable. No costs.
