ORDER
This Writ Petition is filed seeking to issue Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 herein to give necessary police protection to conduct Annual Special Poojas namely Ganapathy Homam, Sudarshana Homam, Thila Homam and Parikara Poojas which is scheduled on 15/05/2026 to 17/05/2026 falling during Ammavasai day for this year in our temple namely Mutharamman Temple, situated at Valiya Vilai, Manjalumoodu, Kanniyakumari District, on the basis of the petitioner's representation made before them by RPAD dated 07.04.2026.
2. In view of the relief sought in this writ petition, notice to the private respondents is dispensed with.

3. The learned Government Advocate submitted that the representation is received and it is understood that rival parties, are also present. They are themselves added private respondents.
4. Heard either sides and carefully perused the materials available on record.
5. In this regard, the respondent police is directed to put the petitioner as well as the private respondents on notice under Section 64 BNSS and conduct enquiry and conclude the same on or before 10.05.2026 and facilitate the conduct of temple festival in Mutharaman temple as scheduled on 15.05.2026 to 17.05.2026 amicably without any hindrance.
6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
