ORDER

The petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition, seeking a direction to the respondent to issue patta in the petitioner's name in respect of the property in Survey No.74/2A, situated at Virathanoor Village, Madurai South Taluk, Madurai District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 16.06.2020.

2.By consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 3.Mr.K.P.Krishnadoss, learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of the respondent.

4.According to the petitioner, her mother was in possession and enjoyment of the property in Survey Nos.123/3, 74/2A and 85/3 situated at Virathanoor Village, Madurai District. After her demise, the petitioner has given a petition to change patta in her favour. However, the patta was changed in her favour only in respect of the property in Survey Nos.123/3. The respondent has sent a notice, directing the petitioner to appear before the respondent on 18.01.2013 and she has appeared with all relevant documents. However, so far the respondent has not changed the patta in the name of the petitioner in respect of the property in Survey https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD) No.15551 of 2020 No.74/2A. Hence, the petitioner has sent a representation dated 16.06.2020 to the respondent. Since no effective steps have been taken in this regard, she has approached this Court, seeking aforesaid prayer.

5.This Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 16.06.2020, after affording opportunity to the petitioner and others, who are likely to be affected, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
