PRAYER :- To release the petitioner on bail in PRC No.31/2018 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Sivagiri, in connection with Crime No.173/2016 pending on the file of the respondent police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The respondent police registered a case as against the petitioner in Crime No.173 of 2016 for the offence under Section 397 IPC, and remanded him into judicial custody on 31.01.2024. Therefore, the petitioner has filed this petition seeking bail. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate 1/3

(Crl.Side) submits that eight previous cases are pending as against the petitioner and it is the fourth bail petition filed by the petitioner. He further submits that the petitioner was secured only by executing non-bailable warrant issued by the trial Court.

3.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the conduct of the petitioner and also considering the antecedent of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant any relief to the petitioner. 4.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 5.Since bail has been denied to the petitioner, the trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four months, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. sd/- 09/07/2024 / TRUE COPY / /07/2024 Sub-Assistant Registrar (C.S.
