PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to call for the entire records connected with the case in Crime No.180 of 2022 pending on the file of the first respondent police station and quash the same as illegal. For R2 : Mr.S.Rajasekaran COMMON ORDER These Criminal Original Petitions have been filed to quash the first information reports in Cr.Nos.179 & 180 of 2022 pending on the file of the first respondent Police.
2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners in both cases submitted that both the cases are case and case in counter. During pendency of these petitions, the respondent Police conducted investigation in both case and filed charge sheet before the learned 3/6
Judicial Magistrate No.6, Madurai. In the meantime, the parties entered into compromise and hence, this Court may permit the parties to file compromise memo before the trial Court for enabling the trial Court to close the complaints.
3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent Police in both cases submitted that investigation in both cases completed and charge sheet also filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.6, Madurai.
4.In view of the above, this Court permits the parties to approach the trial Court and file compromise memo there, in order to enable the learned Magistrate to close the cases by recording the compromise arrived at between the parties. Accordingly, these criminal original petitions are disposed of.
