The prayer in the writ petition is to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to ensure the necessary police protection to erect Kodimarram (Dhvajastambha) in the temple namely Arulmigu Sri Muthumaariamman Kovil, Seriyallar, Karampakaddu, Aalangudi Taluk, Pudukottai District as per the peace committee conclusion in Na.Ka.No.A2/02/2023 dated 06.05.2023 on the file of the fourth respondent.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the respondent 1 to 4 would submit that already wooden kodimarram (Dhvajastambha) was installed in the said temple and thereby the prayer in this Writ Petition has become infructuous.
