By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Alagathevan, learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents.

3. According to the petitioner, she purchased the subject mentioned property from one Nallasivam, by sale deed dated 05.08.2015. Whereas, the patta still stands in the name of the said Nallasivam and therefore, the petitioner has submitted an online application dated 25.01.2017 before the authorities, seeking transfer of patta. As the same is kept pending, without any action, he is before this Court.

4. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Special Government Pleader, on instructions, submitted that the authorities are inclined to pass appropriate orders, on the application of the petitioner, within a stipulated time limit.

5. Under such circumstances, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, directs the respondents, more particularly, the second respondent, to consider the application of the petitioner dated 25.01.2017 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and all the other interested parties, if any, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
