3.The Inspector of Police, Seevalaperi Police Station, Seevalaperi, Tirunelveli District. : Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to permit the petitioner to conduct the Bullock Cart Race, on 16/08/2023 between 6.00 am and 8.00 am, from near Seevalaperi Police Station to Naduvakurichi Vilakku as per the temple festival of Seevalaperi Santhaipettai Manalmedu Sri Sivananaithaperumal, Arulmigu Sri Sudalaimadasamy, Sri Petchiammal, Sri Pappatiammal Temple, on the basis of the petitioner's representation, dated 16/05/2023 followed by the representation, dated 05/06/2023 and pass such further or other orders.

This writ petition is filed seeking directing to the respondents to permit the petitioner to conduct the Bullock Cart Race, on 16/08/2023 between 6.00 am and 8.00 am, from near Seevalaperi Police Station to Naduvakurichi Vilakku as per the temple festival of Seevalaperi Santhaipettai Manalmedu Sri Sivananaithaperumal, Arulmigu Sri Sudalaimadasamy, Sri Petchiammal, Sri Pappatiammal Temple, on the basis of the petitioner's representation, dated 16/05/2023 followed by the representation, dated 05/06/2023 2.Heard both sides.
3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that initially, the petitioner has to approach the Assistant Director of Animal Husbandry, Tirunelveli. After passing of the order by the above said officer, the representation that has been made by the petitioner will be considered.
4.Let the petitioner approach the concerned authority. After obtaining the order of the concerned authority, again, the petitioner can approach the third respondent seeking police protection.
5.With the above said liberty, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
