Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 528 of BNSS, to direct the Hon`ble Learned Principal District and Sessions Judge (PCR), Theni to consider the bail application to be filed by the petitioner on the same day of his surrender in Cr.No.78 of 2025 on the file of the 2nd respondent police. ORDER:- This Criminal Miscellnaoues Petition coming on for hearing on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.S.Vikram , Advocate for the Petitioner and of Mr.A.S.Abul Kalaam Azad , Government Advocate (Criminal Side)for the respondents 1 and 2, this Court made the following order: This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is filed seeking extension of time granted in Crl.OP(MD) No.7369 of 2025, dated 23.04.2025, to surrender before the Special Court.
2.While ordering Crl.OP(MD) No.7369 of 2025, this Court, directed the petitioner to surrender before the concerned jurisdictional Court, within a period of fifteen days from the date of receipt of a copy of that order. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that due to his health 2/5
issues, there is some delay in getting the order copy and therefore, he could not surrender before the Special Court. Hence, he seeks extension of time. 4.In view of the above, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is ordered and a further period of 10 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, is granted to the petitioner to surrender before the Special Court.
