ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents herein to forthwith provide the electricity connection in Poultry Farm belonging to petitioner in SF No.3/6, 3/7, 3/8 of Veerakovil Road Kavandanpatti, Usilampatti Taluk, Madurai District, based upon the representation of the petitioner, dated 22.04.2025. 2.The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that there are objections from the villagers. 3.Since electricity is a basic necessity, the objections cannot be considered. Moreover, it is affecting the petitioner's right. Therefore, the respondents are directed to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 22.04.2025, in accordance to law. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If need be, the respondents are permitted to take police protection. 2/4

4.With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
