*********** By consent of both parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. The Writ Petitioner was appointed as a B.T. Assistant in the year 1983 and later he got promoted as Middle School Head Master. He retired from service in the year 2016. It is his grievance that certain service benefits that ought to have been conferred on him were withheld. He therefore submitted a representation dated 11.02.2013 to the third respondent. The third respondent did not concede the request of the writ petitioner. He therefore filed an appeal before the second respondent on 01.08.2015. The second respondent has not passed any order thereon, till date.

4. This Court directs the second respondent to dispose of the said appeal dated 01.08.2015 filed by the petitioner in accordance with law on or before 28.02.2018.

5. This Writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
