This writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant permission and protection for conducting Temple Festival of "Arulmigu Mayavan Thirukovil, Veikalipatti, Mettur, Kadayam, Alangulam Taluk, Tenkasi District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 03.07.2022 and 06.07.2022.

2.Mr.M.Sakthi Kumar, learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner and the village people are going to celebrate the Temple festival of "Arulmigu Mayavan Thirukovil, Veikalipatti, Mettur, Kadayam, Alangulam Taluk, Tenkasi District from 22.07.2022 and 23.07.2022 seeking permission from the second respondent and gave representation dated 03.07.2022 and 06.07.2022. 2/5

4.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents submitted that they are ready to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.07.2022 and 06.07.2022.

5. In view of the same, the second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.07.2022 and 06.07.2022 with regard to providing permission for conducting temple festival and pass orders within a week on merits in accordance with law.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
