ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 3rd Respondent Police for not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry based on the petitioner's representation dated 10.06.2023.

2. Mother of the girl namely Velumani filed a complaint in Crime No.315 of 2022, which was also registered under women missing caption and investigation is now going on. During the course of investigation, H.C.P petition was also filed by the mother of the girl, which is stated to be pending.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that son of this petitioner married one Selvamani, who is the daughter of defacto complainant. Now both of them attained majority and they are hiding. Further he would submit that only to know the whereabouts of son of the petitioner, enquiry was made with the petitioner. There is no harassment made upon the petitioner.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that they are not aware of the whereabouts of the petitioner's son and he was called five times for enquiry.

5. Since, H.C.P is pending before this Court, it is the duty of the third respondent to make the investigation. The petitioner is directed to co-operate with the third respondent to complete the process of investigation and he must share the information if any, with regard to his son. There is no question of harassment here.

6. With the above said observation, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
