ORDER

This writ petition has been filed, seeking to direct the 1st and 2nd respondents to appoint the petitioner on compassionate ground. 2.The petitioner's representation seeking for appointment on compassionate ground, due to the death of her husband, while he was in service, has not been considered so far, by the respondents, which has resulted in filing of the present writ petition. 3.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the 1st respondent and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the 2nd and 3rd respondents respectively, submitted that the claim of the petitioner would be considered on merits.

4.Under such circumstances, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the 1st and 2nd respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.09.2017, on merits and in accordance with law and pass necessary orders, after affording opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
