For Petitioners : Mr.E.Martin Jeyakumar For Respondents : Mr.Pala Ramasamy (In all Writ Petitions) COMMON ORDER These writ petitions have been filed seeking direction to the respondents to sanction education loan to the petitioners by considering their respective representations dated 11.01.2017, 05.01.2017, 18.01.2017, 25.01.2017, 23.01.2017 and 19.01.2017. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents. By consent, the writ petitions are taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3.The case of the petitioners is that they are studying B.Sc. Nursing (Professional Course) in the respective Nursing Colleges as mentioned in the petitions and since they are not in a position to meet out the expenditure to pursue their course, they have approached the respondents to get education loan. But there was no response from the respondents. Hence, the petitioners have given their respective representations to the respondents to sanction education loan. As the same has not been considered so far by the respondents, the petitioners are before this Court with the above mentioned prayer.

4.The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that if reasonable time is granted to the respondents, the representations of the petitioners will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed. 5.In view of the said submission, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the respondents to consider the representations of the petitioners dated 11.01.2017, 05.01.2017, 18.01.2017, 25.01.2017, 23.01.2017 and 19.01.2017 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners.

6.With the above direction, these writ petitions are disposed of. No costs.
