In both the writ petitions:- For Petitioner : Mr.D.Rameshkumar For Respondent : Mr.K.Chellapandian Additional Advocate General Assisted by A.K.Baskarapandian COMMON ORDER The sum and substance of the issue in hand is that the petitioners are qualified to compete the selection process for combined Recruitment to the post of Grade-II Police Constable 20172018, under sports quota and that all of them have participated in the sport events and that they got necessary certificate from the Tamil Nadu Rural Games Association. None of the petitioners have got certificates as contemplated in terms of Clause 20 of the Information Brochure.

2.In fact, the learned Additional Advocate General, in order to ascertain the above eligibility and to help the candidates, collected details with regard to the affiliation of the sports Association with Tamil Nadu State Olympic Association and it came to light that none of the Association, which issued the certificates, is not at all affiliated with the Tamil Nadu State Olympic Association.
3.If the petitioners are permitted to participate in the further selection process by producing the certificate from different Organisation, which are not recognized by the Tamil Nadu State Olympic Association, it will cause prejudice to the candidates, who have not knocked the doors of this Court. 4.It has been pointed out by Mr.D.Rameshkumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners that the recognition of the Association with Tamil Nadu State Olympic Association has not been reflected in the Information Brochure.
5.As none of the candidates have relevant/required certificates as contemplated in the information brochure, the candidatures cannot be considered and the non-consideration by the respondents cannot be found faulted with. Hence, these writ petitions are dismissed. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
