ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to issue passport on the petitioner's application No.MD1070134964717.

2.According to the petitioner, he has submitted an application to the first respondent for issuance of passport and after receipt of the said application, the first respondent said to have referred the same to the second respondent for conducting enquiry about the proof of residence of the petitioner.

3.It is seen that the second respondent has submitted a report stating that the petitioner is not residing in the said address. Based on the report of the second respondent, the first respondent sent a communication to the petitioner to appear before him for enquiry by producing the necessary documents to establish his residential address. Pursuant to the said communication, the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner has submitted as many as 25 documents to prove that he is residing in the said address. However, the same has not been considered by the first respondent and hence, the petitioner is before this Court with this petition for the aforesaid relief. 4.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is having number of documents to show that the petitioner is residing in the same address and the first respondent, without considering the same, has directed the petitioner to submit all the documents to establish the residential proof. 5.In the above circumstances, this Court directs the petitioner to appear before the first respondent on 26.02.2018 and to produce all the documents to establish that he is residing in the said address and on receipt of such documents, the first respondent shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law.

6.The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
