PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent herein to conduct elaborate enquiry on the representation made by the 1st petitioner on 27.06.2022 and further direct the 2nd respondent to cancel document No. 2818 / 2022 on the file of the SubRegistrar, Musiri, Tiruchirappalli District within the time limit that may be fixed by this Court.

The petitioner has filed this writ petition for a Mandamus, to direct the second respondent to conduct an elaborate enquiry on the representation made by the first petitioner on 27.06.2022 and further to direct the second respondent to cancel the document on the file of the Sub-Registrar, Musiri.

2.On 12.09.2023, when this writ petition was taken up for hearing, there is no representation for the petitioner. Hence, the matter was ordered to be listed on 14.09.2023, under the caption "for dismissal". Even today (14.09.2023), there is no representation for the petitioner.

3.In view of the same, the Writ Petition is dismissed for non prosecution. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
