ORDER
The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the first respondent to grant free house site patta in his favour as per the proceedings of the second respondent in Na.Ka.No.34317-2000 dated 29.08.2008 and by considering his representation dated 26.04.2025.
2. Heard the arguments of Mr.A.Haja Mohideen, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.D.S.Nedunchezian, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice on behalf of the respondents.
3. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
4. It is the case of the petitioner that he belongs to most backward community. He is not having any property of his own. The second respondent on 29.08.2008 conducted field enquiry and found the petitioner was eligible for assignment of free house site and included him in the name of beneficiaries in his proceedings dated 29.08.2008 referred above. Inspite of the recommendation by the second respondent, till date free house site patta has not been issued to the petitioner. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation before the respondents 1 and 2 on 26.04.2025 seeking issuance of free house site patta by taking into consideration his indigent circumstances. However, the said representation has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.
5. Mr.D.S.Nedunchezian, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice on behalf of the respondents, would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law within time stipulated by this Court.

In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the entitlement of the petitioner to get free house site patta, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 26.04.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
