ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus to direct the 3rd respondent to release the settlement deed in pending document No.79 of 2024 dated 25.10.2024 by considering the petitioner's representation dated 21.05.2025.

2. The petitioner is claiming title over the property based on the 1930 Sale Deed which was executed in favour of the petitioner mother's grand father. Individual respondents are claiming title over the subject property based on the Sale Deed which was executed as early as on 1961. Since both parties are claiming title over the subject property, patta alone cannot be a 2/4

criteria to determine the title to the subject property. Therefore, the petitioner and the individual respondents may prefer a Suit before the competent Civil Court to determine their title, if so advised.
