ORDER
The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondent to consider the application submitted by the petitioner dated 27.12.2024 seeking subdivision and patta transfer in respect of the property situated in Survey No.282/1, T.S.No.22, Block 2, Ward E, with an extent of 2669.0652 Sq.ft, out of the total extent of 1 Acre and 22 cents, situated in Vadakarai Village, Thirumangalam Municipality. 2.Heard the arguments of Mr.Baburajendran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.Baskaran, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3.It is the case of the petitioner that he purchased the above mentioned property under a registered sale deed dated 22.04.2021. After purchase, the petitioner submitted an application on 27.12.2024 seeking subdivision of the property purchased by him and transfer of patta in his name. The said application has not been considered till date. Hence, the
petitioner has come before this Court.
4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent would submit the application of the petitioner will be considered on its own merits within the time stipulated by this Court. 5.In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, the respondent is directed to consider the application submitted by the petitioner dated 27.12.2024 seeking subdivision and transfer of patta and pass final orders on its own merits, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner and other interested parties.
