ORDER

It is seen from the records that the case was filed against the petitioner in the year 1999. The petitioner had been absconding since the filing of the First Information Report. Therefore, the proceedings were

split up, and a criminal case is pending against the petitioner before the trial court. In the original case, all the other accused pleaded guilty and paid the fine amount.

2. Now the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case the petitioner is directed to this Court is directing the petitioner to surrender before the Principal Special Court for EC & NDPS At Cases, Madurai. The petitioner shall submit a bail application before trial Court. On such submission, the trial Judge shall consider the bail application in accordance to law on merits on the same date. However, the trial Court is directed to complete the trial proceedings within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.

3.With the above said directions, the criminal original petition is disposed of.
