ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by A.D.JAGADISH CHANDIRA,J.) This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to grant 15 days emergency leave without escort to the petitioner's husband, namely Nagarajan, S/o.Karuppiah, a life convict prisoner(CP No.5864) now confined at Central Prison, Madurai to make marriage arrangements and to attend his ailing father for a period of 15 days, by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 26.05.2025. 2.Heard Mr.S.Srikanth, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.B.Nambi Selvan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.
3. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstance of the case and the limited relief sought for in the writ petition and without going into the merits of the case, there shall be a direction to the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner dated 26.05.2025 strictly in accordance with law and take a decision within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
