Prayer in this writ petition is to direct the respondents to grant one month ordinary leave without escort to the petitioner's husband namely Baskaran, S/o.Panchavarnam (CP No.6092) now confined at Central Prison, Madurai to enable him to arrange finances for the education of their minor son and for the continuation of construction of their residence, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 22.04.2025.
2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents. 3.When the matter is came up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the representation of the petitioner has been considered and it has been rejected vide order dated 14.05.2025 in No.512/cj 2/2025. He has also produced a copy of the letter to that effect.
4.Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Writ Petition stands closed. No costs.
