O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 to 5 for burial of dead bodies of petitioner's community people in Survey No.108 to the extent of 0.25.0 Acre (63 in cents) in Pudukkottai District, Aavudayarkovil Taluk, Irumbanadu Melapaakam Village, which was allotted as a burial 1/3

ground for petitioner's community people as per revenue records, based on the petitioner's representation dated 08.10.2020. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that in Survey No.108 to an extent of 0.25.0 Acre (63 cents) at Pudukkottai District, Aavudayarkovil Taluk, Irumbanadu Melapakkam Village has been allotted to the petitioner's community people as a burial ground. There was some opposition by the sixth respondent and his men, hence, the petitioner made a representation dated 08.10.2020 to the respondents 1 to 5. But, so far no action has been taken by the respondent police. Hence, the petitioner filed this present petition.

3.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 5 submitted that the detailed representation dated 08.10.2020 has been given by the petitioner and the same will be considered by the official respondents in accordance with law by giving notice to the 6th respondent.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the official respondents are directed to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 08.10.2020 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken by the official respondents to the petitioner.

5.With this direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of.
