ORDER

The present petition has been filed by the Accused Nos.1 & 2 in Crime No.26 of 2026 on the file of the first respondent police, seeking to quash the FIR, wherein, they are alleged to have committed offences punishable under Sections 7, 8 and 21(1) of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 and Sections. 115(2) of BNS, 2023.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the first respondent submitted that final report had already been filed before the Special Court for Exclusive trial of cases under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012, Thoothukudi District, and the same was taken on file in Spl.SC.No.93 of 2026.

3. Considering the above said facts, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed with liberty to the petitioners to challenge the final report in accordance with law, if they are so advised. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
