O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM, J.] The petitioner has filed this habeas corpus petition seeking direction to the respondents to produce his daughter, namely, Mugileveni, before this Court and set her at liberty.

2. According to the petitioner, the detenue Mugileveni is his daughter. His daughter is found missing from 17.10.2020 and in this regard, he gave a complaint to the second respondent - Police and the same is registered in Crime No.260 of 2020. Since no further action was taken by the respondent Police, the present habeas corpus petition has been filed.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the petitioner and the detenue appeared before this Court through Video Conferencing from the Office of the Public Prosecutor. On enquiry, the detenue would state that she is aged 19 years and she married https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

H.C.P.(MD) No.956 of 2020 one Vineeth on 15.11.2020 in a Temple at Sirkali. She further stated that she is not willing to go with her father.

4. In the light of the above statement of the detenue, we do not find any valid reason to further adjudicate the habeas corpus petition and the same is therefore dismissed. Sd/- Assistant Registrar (CS-II) // True Copy // / /2021 Sub Assistant Registrar(CS) Note :
