O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM, J.] This habeas corpus petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to produce the Petitioner's daughter namely, Sowmiya, aged about 21 years before this Court and set her at liberty.

2.It is the case of the Petitioner that from 24.10.2020, his daughter is missing and in this regard, a complaint was lodged with the second respondent and the same was also registered in FIR in Crime No.l257 of 2020. But no action was taken by the official respondents.

3.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, Mr.K.Dinesh Babu, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would state that the detenue is a major, aged about 21 years and she married the fourth respondent on 28.10.2020. The detenue as well as the fourth respondent were produced before this Court through video conferencing from the Additional Public Prosecutor's office and enquiry from the detenue, it reveals that she is a major and she married the fourth respondent on 28.10.2020 in a Vinayagar Temple at Dindigul. It was also registered on 3.11.2020.She would further state that she is not interested to go with her father.

4.In view of the above statement made by the detenue, nothing survives for consideration in this Habeas Corpus petition and accordingly, the same stands closed.
