PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code to direct the respondents not to harass the petitioners under the guise of enquiring into the complaint lodged by Mrs.Sharmila/fourth respondent on the file of the respondent Police.

This petition has been filed to direct the respondents not to harass the petitioners under the guise of enquiring into the complaint lodged by Mrs.Sharmila/fourth respondent on the file of the respondent Police.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that based on the complaint given by the fourth respondent herein, enquiry was undertaken and during the course of enquiry, it was found that it is a family dispute. On that ground, the complaint was closed. He would further submit that except for the purpose of making enquiry over the complaint given by the fourth respondent, no harassment was made to the petitioner.

3. In view of the above submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, nothing survives for further adjudication or consideration in this petition. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of as infructuous.
