ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/A7, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c), 20(b)(ii)(B) of NDPS Act, 1985 in Crime No.715 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that on 31.05.2023, at about 05.00 am., when the police party were on patrol near Madakulam Tank, the found the accused persons along with gunny bag. On search, it was found that they were in illegal possession of 7.700 kgs of ganja. Hence, the case.

4.It is seen that there are totally 7 accused in this case, in which, the petitioner herein is arrayed as A7. A1 to A5 were found in possession of 7.700 kgs of ganja. After seeing the police, A6 and the petitioner herein ran away from the scene of occurrence. That apart, the petitioner involved in another case. Therefore, custodial interrogation of the petitioner is very much required in this case and as such, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed.
