ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/A1, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under section 379 I.P.C., and section 21(1) of Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957 in Crime No.256 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner said to have illegally transported 1⁄2 unit of river sand . Hence, a case has been registered.

CRL OP(MD). No.10660 of 2023 six previous cases are pending against the petitioner, of which three cases are under the similar offence.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the previous bad antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

5. Hence the petition stands dismissed.
